Everything started in 2017 in Hato Rey Puerto Rico, in the aftermath of the hurricane Maria. Producer x/V started making music while the island was trying to get back together. He decides to move to Florida while he continues working on the album and x/V finally finishes his album of instrumental cinematic hip-hop and Lo-Fi hip-hop music in Los Angeles California. His first two projects were more abstract and experimental "Cityborn",  "Hollow Theories" but "Underwater" has more commercial elements.

This project is composed of 10 experimental lo-fi hip-hop instrumentals. It carries a cinematic atmosphere that tells a story sonically. The concept of the project came from my insecurities when starting to produce music. Most artists start their careers at the bottom being “underground”. So I figured if I am starting lower than them — then my music comes from “Underwater”. -

He is always working with other creators, producers, and engineers. It's funny how this album was already done and was sent to remaster the whole album again, this couldn't be done without the help of Sound Engineer Alecc Aeon. Also he did a collab with other producers from Puerto Rico like Miguel Falette on (track10) & Jahfet Cintron in (track4).

But the grind doesn't stop there x/V made around  25 beats to get the tracks that he needed for this album that contains 10 instrumentals. Receiving feedback of his music from different artists like   M1 theking to building a cool branding concept from marketing specialist Natalia Michelle makes x/V ready and complete to release his album Underwater.

Here in Black Angels Music, we are more welcome to be part of this album and let you guys know that is a great project.

Take a deep breath and dive into "Underwater".
